How to optimize images from Essential Grid Gallery
Optimizing images before uploading them to Essential Grid Gallery can significantly improve page load speed, gallery performance, mobile responsiveness, and user experience. This guide explains the best practices for preparing images to ensure your galleries load quickly while maintaining high visual quality.
Why Optimize Gallery Images?
Large image files can negatively affect:
- Store loading speed
- Mobile performance
- User experience
- SEO rankings
- Conversion rates
The easiest way to apply all of this is with File Manager & Image Optimizer. It integrates directly with Essential Grid so you can compress all your gallery images in one place — no downloading, no re-uploading. Here’s how to set it up, step by step:
Step 1 — Install File Manager & Image Optimizer
→ Install the app here

Step 2 — Enable the integration in Essential Grid
Go to Essential Grid Gallery → Settings. You’ll see a new option: Fileora App Compatible. Enable it.
Step 3 — Sync your galleries
Click Sync All Galleries. This sends all your gallery images to File Manager so they’re ready to optimize.

Step 4 — Open File Manager → App Integrations
Inside File Manager, go to the App Integrations section and click essential-grid-gallery. You’ll see all the images from your galleries listed here.

Step 5 — Compress your images
Choose how you want to compress: One by one — select specific images if you only want to optimize certain galleries

Or, all at once — one click compresses every gallery image

Once compressed, your galleries will automatically serve the optimized versions. No re-uploading needed.
