How to Publish an Essential Grid Gallery on a Specific Shopify Page
Overview
This tutorial guides you through creating a custom Shopify page template to display an Essential Grid gallery on a single, specific page rather than across all pages. It is designed for Shopify merchants wanting to organize and isolate their grid layouts.
Steps
Step 1: Create a New Page Template
- Navigate to the top bar drop-down menu in your Shopify editor and select Page.

- Click on Create template.

- Assign a name to your new template for the front-end area (e.g., for your Gallery page).

Note: Do not use the default template, as adding the grid gallery to the default template will risk displaying the grid across all pages.
Step 2: Add the Essential Grid Gallery Component
- Go to the Add section menu.
- Type "Essential Grid Gallery" into the search and select the App tab.
- Select Essential Grid Gallery from the options.

Step 3: Configure the Grid ID
- Locate the ID number field for the grid.
- If you only have one grid created, this ID number is automatically added. If you have created multiple grids, manually paste the specific ID of the grid you want to display.
- The grid preview should now appear on the page.

Step 4: Assign and Save the Template in the Shopify Backend
- Go to your Shopify backend.
- Select your designated Gallery page.
- On the right-hand side, open the page template drop-down menu and select your newly created custom template.
- Click Save.

Step 5: Verify the Live Preview
- Open the live preview of your store.
- Check your front-end gallery page to verify that the gallery displays correctly.
- Check your other store pages to confirm that the gallery is hidden from them, keeping the rest of your site organized.
